Amy Alexander has consistently distinguished herself throughout her career with exceptional sales performance and a talent for building strong client relationships. From the very beginning of her professional journey, she exceeded expectations, surpassing 100% of her sales goals while working in banking. She continued this success in outside sales for an industrial laundry, where she ranked in the top 25% of the company’s sales team. Amy has a proven ability to build sales territories and customer databases from the ground up and has been selected multiple times to serve as a sales trainer across various industries. Amy has a diverse and impressive career that spans across multiple industries, each marked by success and a drive to make an impact. From 2002 to 2008, Amy built a thriving software training business, where her clients—ranging from corporate to government and military sectors—trusted her to train their teams effectively. After years of averaging over forty weeks of travel per year, Amy decided to shift her focus to a new career in health and fitness. In 2008, she earned her ACSM personal trainer certification and transitioned into personal training, even as the country faced a recession. Despite the challenges, she quickly became one of the top revenue producers at Life Time Fitness in Indianapolis. Amy’s passion for fitness led her to become a certified Pilates instructor, where she not only trained clients but also played a key role in building and growing the Pilates program at her location. Her ability to thrive in such varied fields highlights her adaptability, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.

In 2015, Amy Alexander returned to the Western New York area, where she continued to teach Pilates as a contract instructor while negotiating terms through her own business. She helped build the social media presence for the studio she worked with, significantly growing its clientele. In April 2018, Amy took the next step in her entrepreneurial journey by opening her own studio, Metamorphosis Pilates & Bodywork, Inc., in East Aurora, NY. Despite facing significant challenges, including a delayed buildout and a roof leak, Amy persevered, learning valuable lessons along the way. Through her dedication and strong work ethic, she not only grew her business but also established meaningful relationships with local business owners, which helped expand her client base. Amy’s resilience and ability to adapt have been key factors in the continued success of her studio.

Over the years, Amy has become a trusted coach and mentor to many business owners, particularly in the solopreneur space. She specializes in helping one-person-led businesses, whether they have employees or not, navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship. From guiding them on how to get started, to advising on when it’s beneficial to outsource tasks, Amy’s expertise covers all aspects of business growth. She provides support with social media strategy, helps define target markets, and teaches effective sales techniques. Through regular check-ins and tailored guidance, Amy has empowered countless solopreneurs to grow and thrive.
